Representative Tom Dippel Enters Race for Minnesota’s 41st Senate District
COTTAGE GROVE, MN. – Today, Tom Dippel, husband, father, and local business owner announces his intention to run for Minnesota Senate District 41.
“As a lifelong resident of Cottage Grove and your State Representative, I’ve focused on listening, learning, and amplifying the voices in our community to create solutions for our shared priorities.” Dippel said. “For me, it’s never been about politics. It’s always about service and community. Now I’m running to be your State Senator to keep our priorities front and center for families in Cottage Grove, Hastings, Afton, Lake Elmo, Grant, and the surrounding areas. Let’s work together for solutions that make a real difference.”
“We have recently seen single-party control of our state government spend an $18 billion surplus, raise taxes another $11 billion, and increase the size of government by an astounding 40%, while our current State Senator was the deciding vote that made life harder for families, businesses, and students. Our residents deserve strong representation that will deliver on their promises and maintain balance at the State Capitol, including prioritizing safe drinking water for our residents, a thriving economy that works for our families, and ensuring our schools are the gold standard. It has been an honor to serve my constituents in the Minnesota House of Representatives, and I look forward to continuing to work for you in the Minnesota Senate.” Dippel concluded.
